India Zhané Thompson also known as “Inds” or “Indie” was raised in Baltimore, MD but was born into the small city of Greenville, NC. She started the hair industry at the ripe age of 15, completing her training and licensing at 17 through Milford Mill Academy’s cosmetology program.

Specializing in natural hair care, luxury extension installs, & color, she made a dedication in the hair field to help women look and feel better about themselves as feeling good inside starts on the outside. She is now 20 and currently a junior business administration major at the illustrious Morgan State University and plans on opening many salons with her business degree.
